If you would like to donate, you have the option of a general donation, or we can direct your donation to a specific area. A $100 donation to the goat project is enough to purchase a female goat for a Haitian family. We will send you photos of your goat with its new family. If you would like to direct the money more towards the landfill ministry, the feeding programs, or the children’s home, you can send your donation to Go and Do Likewise Foundation and we will direct it there, or we can put you into contact with Jeff Eastman of MEA Missions or with the Kings to send a donation directly to them.
We want to stress that 100% of donations go to the projects. We are a primarily self-funded foundation with no facilities or salaries. What minimal overhead we have, we cover ourselves. Additionally, all donations are tax-deductible.
If you are a part of a group that would like to go to the Dominican Republic for a mission trip, let us know. We will spend time at the children’s home, participate in the landfill ministry, attend a Haitian Church service, participate in goat donations, and perhaps lead a project of your own if you are so inclined. Our partners in the DR are willing to help facilitate any project you are interested in. Someone can’t understand a culture and the people's lives and situations until they physically and emotionally experience them. You will see the real DR in a way that would be impossible for a tourist and meet the most amazing and loving people. It will change your heart and very well might change your life!
